Hints & Tips
Transport to your ceremony venue and then onto your reception venue needs to be considered. Wedding transport has grown in choice from the traditional classic style cars to almost anything you can dream of! Double-decker buses can now be hired to transfer you and all your guests from one location to another, coloured limousines that complement your colour scheme or a car that reflects the personality or leisure activity of the bride and groom, such as a convertible mini could add a touch of uniqueness to your day.
Before booking the transport you should take time to consider who requires transport and where they will be. The cost of transport will depend on the length of journey from location to location and the number of trips required picking up the bridal party members. The mother of the bride and any bridesmaids usually travel to the reception first in a separate car, and then the bride follows on with whoever is giving her away. The groom normally finds his own way to the ceremony with the best man. The bride and groom will need to consider who they will transport from the ceremony venue to the reception venue, it is normally themselves and the bridesmaids and the parents of the bride.
If the ceremony venue has no parking or is not easily accessible it would be worth considering putting on a coach or mini bus for your guests, if they can park at the reception venue and then be dropped off at the ceremony venue then this can provide a lot less hassle than them all turning up on the day and finding no where to park!
