Before taking out wedding insurance, do you need my wedding venue to be booked?

No, but we need to have the name and address of your church or civil ceremony venue as soon as it is booked. Please note our policy excludes any payment made for your wedding venue or reception before the inception of cover.

I live abroad and will be traveling back to the UK for my wedding, can I take out insurance?

Unfortunately we can only offer cover to UK residents who have been resident in the UK for four months or more.

My reception is on a different day to my wedding ceremony. Is this covered?

Yes both the wedding and the reception will be covered, providing they are within 72 hours of each other. If they are further apart you would require a separate policy for each.

My venue is a UK stately home and they stipulate that I need public liability cover, is this available?

Yes. You will get public liability as standard up to £3 million, depending on the level of cover chosen.

Up to what value of wedding do you insure?

Weddings up to £50,000 can be insured by the wedding insurance policy, dependant on what level of cover chosen.

We want to have ceremonial swords on the wedding day. Is this covered?

Yes, ceremonial swords are covered by the wedding insurance policy, as long as you choose this as an optional extension.
