Woman appeals for missing camera
A woman is probably hoping she will not have to claim on her camera insurance after appealing for the return of the missing device.
Pauline Slack described in an interview with the Whitby Gazette how she accidentally left the Kodak appliance in a public toilet.
The holidaymaker is thought to have forgotten to pick up the camera from the washroom facilities near Sandsend at around 15:00 BST on April 2nd.
“We just thought it was possible that someone had found it and didn’t know what to do with it. That’s what we are hoping anyway,” Ms Slack stated.
She is appealing for anyone who may have discovered the camera to return either the entire device or just the memory card.
Ms Slack was visiting Whitby on holiday and has asked for information to be passed on to the local police station.
The coastal town is situated on the Yorkshire seafront close to the villages and resorts of Scarborough, Filey, Ravenscar and Bridlington.
