Tiger crashes Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s wedding
Katy Perry and Russell Brand pleaded for privacy regarding their wedding as Katy wrote on Twitter: ‘Greatest gift you can give us is respect and love during this private time…Thank you for this…’ Russell and Katy tied the knot in front of family and friends in a vibrant Hindu ceremony last Saturday at the luxury resort of Aman-i-Khas in Rajasthan, India. They are another celebrity couple to have opted for a fairly quiet 85-guest-wedding and tried to keep their nuptials as private as possible for a famous couple. It has been reported, however, that the bride wore a blue sari and later on changed into other outfits and the groom decided to wear a traditional nude-coloured kurta and later on he changed into a long colourful coat. All aspects of Katy and Russell’s nuptials have followed tradition as the groom arrived on horseback, they had a wedding procession and Indian musicians to entertain. The couple sat on golden wedding thrones under an authentically decorated canopy and made their speeches. Amongst the couple’s friends and family, celebrity guests such as Jonathan Ross and his wife, David Baddiel and Rihanna said to have attended. During the celebrations a male tiger climbed a couple of walls to get into the venue, being attracted by all the people at the festivities, until it was scared away by guards when it tried to get even closer. The tiger is said to have killed three people already in the past two years.
