Shelter seeks home for ‘royal’ bunnies
Foal Farm Animal Rescue in Biggin Hill, Kent has witnessed its own royal wedding as two bunnies called Wills and Kate have bonded.
The organisation is currently searching for a home for the regal rabbits, who were originally put together to keep each other company, reports BBC News.
According to the charity, it was “love at first sight” when the creatures were introduced.
“They are absolutely gorgeous and, like all rabbits, deserve to be treated royally,” said Kim Puttock, chief executive of the farm.
Kate originally came to the rescue centre as part of a litter that was abandoned, while Wills used to be a family pet.
Ms Puttock revealed that the centre is looking for a “special new home for Kate and Wills”.
Last month, animal owner Louise Harris staged a wedding for her pooch Lola, who she married to a Chinese Crested dog called Mugly, spending £20,000 in the process, the Daily Mail reported.
