Rescued cat has perfect heart-shaped marking
A cat abandoned in Devon has a perfect heart-shaped black marking on her side, those with insurance for cats might be intrigued to learn.
The black and white puss, who has been named Bette Davis by staff at Gables Farm Dogs’ and Cats’ Home, has become “a real hit” at the shelter.
Katie Barkell, a carer at the establishment, told the Daily Mail: “We were gobsmacked when we first saw her. The heart shape is perfect and completely unique.”
The centre is looking for someone to take the unusual feline into their home.
Individuals who decide to adopt an abandoned moggy might want to take out cat insurance to help them pay vet bills if the animal becomes ill.
Earlier this month, the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals and YouGov published a study that revealed more than ten million pets in the UK might not be given sufficient levels of care by their owners.
