Prince Albert reveals wedding details
One couple who may want to ensure they have wedding insurance is Prince Albert II of Monaco and his fiancee Charlene Wittstock.
The pair revealed in an interview with German TV broadcaster ZDF that they are intending to tie the knot in an outdoor ceremony rather than the traditional Saint Nicholas Cathedral.
Prince Albert explained how the house of worship only holds 300 people and their guest list is far larger.
However, before he could say much more about the July 2nd nuptials, Wittstock warned him not to “give too much away”.
It is understood that the couple will wed in the courtyard of the Prince’s Palace of Monaco in front of hundreds of dignitaries, friends, family and other nobility.
In comparison, the sovereign’s father Prince Rainer III and mother Grace Kelly exchanged vows in the famous cathedral.
The couple met at the Cannes Film Festival in 1955 and were married the following year.
