Police appeal for information about caravan hitchings theft
Investing in caravan insurance may be something one mobile home centre in Thame wants to consider after a robbery at the site.
Police are appealing for information following the release of CCTV footage that shows two men stealing caravan hitchings between 00:51 BST and 03:30 BST on Thursday April 21st.
“I am appealing for anyone with information, or whoever may have seen suspicious activity in the area, possibly a vehicle on Station Yard at that time, to contact the police on 08458 505 505,” police constable Andrea Smith stated.
The images display how the suspects took three trolley loads of 51 ALKO-branded caravan hitchings from the property after scaling a gate.
Thought to be in the late teens or early 20s, the pair are described as wearing tops, trousers and woolly hats.
Elsewhere, Peterborough Today reported that police have warned caravan owners to take care of their vehicles after seven units were broken into in Fenland and Huntingdon recently.
