Liam Gallagher ‘loves golf’
Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher may want to invest in golf insurance after taking up the sport.
The singer revealed in an interview with the Times that he is still learning the ropes but is enjoying playing the game.
“I spend too much time in that … sand pit but there you go … it’s a learning curve. And there’s a drink-up after,” he commented.
Gallagher went on to describe how he feels relaxed when he plays and likes spending time outdoors.
He added that he feels a sense of satisfaction when he makes “proper contact” with the ball and it “goes miles”.
It seems golf may be the latest calming influence in Gallagher’s life, as he also listed jogging and getting in shape among his new hobbies.
Oasis first found fame in the early days of Britpop and had a string of hits that included Slide Away, Don’t Look Back in Anger and Wonderwall.
