Holsworthy caravan fire leads to burns for man
A caravan fire has led to a young man being treated for burns sustained in the incident.
The fire occurred at Milton Damerel last night (February 20th), according to a report by the North Devon Gazette.
Fire crews were called to the scene to deal with the flames at around 23:50 and engines from Holsworthy, Torrington and Hatherleigh were all in attendance at the incident.
The caravan was well alight when they arrived at the scene and they and used a hose reel jet to combat the flames.
A young man was taken to hospital with burns after being treated at the scene of the incident.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, but a caravan insurance claim may need to be made by the owner of the vehicle to pay for the repairs.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service recently revealed it believes a caravan fire that occurred at Ratham Lane in West Ashling was started deliberately, the Chichester Observer reported.
