Gypsy Weddings Continue……
In last nights episode traveller boy Pat married ‘Gorger’ Sam.
The romance goes against everything the travelling world are looking for – to keep their traditions and history alive.
Sam said ‘I’m not a gypsy and Pat is not a gypsy, he’s just my partner. I’ve known him for a long time and we are best mates,’
Pat said his friends had said to him, ‘Why are you going with a non traveller girl?’ and Pat replied ‘It’s my life, it’s my choice.’
Dress maker Thelma, helped Sam start her journey in to the gypsy world by creating her huge pink dress with fibre optic lights and mechanical butterflies. The dress weighed 20 stone.
Sam arrived at the ceremony in a white horse drawn carriage identical to the one Katie Price had when she married Peter Andre.
Thelma refused to reveal how much the dress with 21 skirts underneath it had cost. She said it is customer confidentiality and nobody would ever trust her again.
Sam left her family home to live in a caravan with new husband Pat. She said ‘I’m not bothered where we live. I don’t care if we had to live in a dustbin as long as I’m with Pat.’
