Fantastic Owl Photographs

Photographer, Jody Melanson, has taken some amazing pictures of the Great Grey Owl in Ontario, Canada. He travelled an hour to get to the area of Bobcaygeon to take the shots after received a tip-off. The bird was perched in a tree overlooking a field and managed to spot a tiny vole scurrying across the field. The Great Grey Owl’s flat face acts like a bit like a radar dish directing even the quietest noises towards its sensitive ears. The owl silently swooped in and caught his prey, and Jody captured it all on film.
