Elddis wins big at caravan awards
Caravan manufacturer Elddis is celebrating after winning a series of prizes at a design award ceremony this week.
The firm – which owns brands such as Compass, Xplore and Buccaneer – took five accolades in total at the 2014 Caravan Club Design Awards.
Judges particularly praised the company's attention to detail in models such as the Buccaneer Schooner, the Elddis Affinity 574 and the Elddis Affinity 540.
The Caravan Club said: "The continued aim of the Awards is to provide club members and all caravanners, with guidance when looking to change their current van and the club's award results are always eagerly anticipated for this precise reason."
People considering buying a model made by Elddis will also need to think about caravan insurance to protect their purchase.
Insurance is important cover in the event of an owner becoming the victim of a theft or a fire, or if their caravan is damaged in any type of accident.
