Delays caused by overturned caravan
The importance of taking out tourer caravan insurance may have been highlighted by a second incident on the A419.
Traffic was disrupted when a caravan overturned on the same stretch of road where an accident occurred last week, the Swindon Advertiser reports.
Commuters faced delays as the unit lay on its side on the northbound carriageway blocking one lane.
It was being towed by a red Volkswagen Passat when it flipped causing the inside lane to be closed for more than two hours.
An eyewitness said: “The caravan was on its side, but all of the occupants were inside the car and appeared to be fine.”
Four days previously, a lorry collided with a tractor that was towing a caravan on the same road.
Elsewhere, two people recently had to be taken to hospital after their mobile home overturned on the northbound carriageway of the A500, the Staffordshire Sentinel reports
