Cruising voted ‘number one honeymoon’
Brides and grooms-to-be browsing wedding insurance cover may be interested to hear that a “romantic cruise” would be the ideal way for some newlyweds to spend their honeymoon.
This is according to research carried out by Cruise Compare, which revealed 34 per cent of 18 to 25-year-olds would love to spend their first holiday as man and wife onboard a self-contained ship.
Meanwhile, 21 per cent listed a stay in a five-star hot and sunny resort as their ideal way to spend a honeymoon.
Danielle Fear, managing director of Cruise Compare, explained how many couples see their post-nuptial vacation as a “once in a lifetime” experience and, as a result, do not mind spending large sums.
She added: “A cruise holiday is certainly a special and luxurious holiday and perfect for a honeymoon.”
