Brothers jailed for camera theft
A pair of brothers have been jailed after admitting a crime spree including a camera theft.
Martin and Dean McEvilly, of Crescent Road, Great Lever, admitted taking part in break-ins on both December 22nd and 29th, reports the Bolton News.
CCTV images showed Martin McEvilly breaking into the ARC car wash office in Manchester Road after smashing a window. He then took items worth over £500, including a laptop, sat nav, camera and cash.
Martin and 41-year-old Dean McEvilly then smashed the windows of two vehicles at the Williams BMW compound in Orlando Street a week later.
Ann Deakin, defending, said: "They had seen the Glyn Webb door open and thought they may be able to find something they could sell. It was opportunistic and not planned, but they have gone back to what they know best, unfortunately."
Camera insurance can help to protect members of the public in the event of them becoming the victim of a theft.
