Excess

The excess is the amount you pay towards a claim. There is no excess on any sections except Public Liability and Marquees where it is £99.

The following discounts are available on E&L® Civil Partnership Insurance:

  • online discount

The total maximum discount per policy is 35%.

Introductory discounts provided only apply to new policies taken out online.

To be eligible for E&L® Civil Partnership Insurance the following conditions must be met:

  • The policyholder is a UK resident aged over 18 years
  • The ceremony date must not be more than 2 years or less than 21 days from the date of policy inception

  • I currently live outside of the UK and will be travelling back to the UK for my ceremony, can I take out a civil partnership insurance policy with E&L?

  • Unfortunately we can only offer cover to UK residents who have been resident in the UK for four months or more.
