Hen and Stag Nights

One of the most traditional parts of the wedding is the hen and stag night, they have changed from the traditional night away to full weekends or even a week away to a destination that reflects the bride and grooms personality. The idea is for the couple to mark their last night out as a single person before they get married.

There are many companies in the market now that will book your whole event for you, from the hotel through to any entertainment activities that you wish to undertake such as luxurious spa days to white water rafting.

It is important to consider who you will be inviting on your night and this can determine what activities will be undertaken, your single friends may not want to do the same activities as your mother in law to be!

Traditionally the hen or stag night used to take place the night prior to the wedding, however it is advisable to plan your hen and stag night roughly two to three weeks before the wedding day, to enable you to recover and rest in plenty of time for the wedding day, after all nobody would like a hangover on their wedding day!
