We have three Dog Insurance Cover Options to choose from:

- Gold dog insurance - vet's fees up to £5,000
- Diamond dog insurance - vet's fees up to £6,000
E&L® have been providers of dog health insurance for over 20 years. We offer a 25% discount for dog insurance policies purchased online and an additional 10% when insuring more than one pet. All in all we offer comprehensive cover and some of the cheapest dog insurance plans available.
As part of your policy you will also receive 12 month's free membership to The National Pet Register, our 24hr lost and found service in case your dog goes missing or is stolen.
E&L® also offer Senior dog insurance for dogs aged 8 years and over with no maximum age limit.

Area Classification
- Area A: All counties other than those in Area B or Area C
- Area B: Berkshire, Essex, Sussex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Middlesex and Surrey
- Area C: London
Excess
The excess is the amount you pay towards a claim. It is from £55–£159 (dependent on the area of the country, breed of pet and the plan type you have chosen) except Public Liability claims where the excess is £250. Claims over £1,000 in value are subject to a double excess.

The following discounts are available on E&L® Dog Insurance:
- 25% online discount
- 10% multi pet discount
The total maximum discount per policy is 35%.
Introductory discounts provided only apply to new policies taken out online.
To be eligible for E&L® Dog Insurance the following conditions must be met:
- The policyholder is a UK resident aged over 18 years
- The Dog must be aged between 5 weeks and 8 years of age
- E&L must be advised of any pre-existing medical conditions
- Breed must comply with our dangerous breed exclusions

- Yes although unvaccinated dogs are not covered for: Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Parvovirus. In addition any treatment required for an illness that may have been prevented with a routine vaccination will be excluded (unless the vaccine failed).

- My dog is currently insured with you but is close to turning 8 years old. What happens to my cover?
- Your dog can be insured with E&L no matter how old they are, we will simply transfer you onto a senior dog policy.

- Why do I need third party liability cover for my dog?
- The world is becoming an even more litigious and claims for compensation are commonplace. Third party liability cover gives you peace of mind should your dog cause damage to someone else's property or to them.

- Will my dog insurance help if my dog is lost?
- Yes. As part of your policy we offer cover for advertising and reward to help you cover the cost of getting your dog back. In addition, we offer each policyholder the opportunity of membership of the National Pet Register, a 24 hour service available to help reunite missing pets with their owners.
