It is an unfortunate reality that bicycles get stolen and only a small percentage get recovered. Additionally cyclists can be vulnerable when sharing the same roads as motor vehicles and regrettably accidents do happen. We cannot stop these instances from occurring but you can protect yourself against them with cycling insurance from E&L^®.

We offer a choice of two plans, Leisure and Compete, so whether you are a keen cyclist involved in competitions or just enjoy cycling for leisure or commuting, we have the right policy for you.

• The Leisure Plan provides cover for bicycles used for day-to-day leisure and road-based time trials
• The Compete Plan provides cover for bicycles used for racing and competitions for semi-professional cyclists

To be eligible for E&L^® Cycle Insurance the following conditions must be met:

The policyholder is a UK resident aged over 18 years (junior applications must be taken out by a parent/guardian aged over 18)

The bicycle must not be used for professional or trade purposes, except commuting

The following discounts are available on E&L^® Cycle Insurance:

• 10% online discount
• 5% premium discount for cyclists aged 14-18 and over 50 years
• 10% premium discount if insuring 2 or more cycles

The total maximum discount per policy is 20%.
