  • Am I covered for flying if I am pregnant?
  • Yes, however if you are due to be 28 weeks pregnant or more at the time of the flight, you must obtain a "fitness to fly" certificate from your GP prior to flying. Many tour operators request to see this at boarding, so make sure that you take it with you.

  • Are UK trips covered?
  • Yes, you can select cover for trips in the UK. It is worthwhile checking what you are already covered for under your home contents and all risk home insurance policies.

  • Do you cover any pre-existing medical conditions?
  • Your policy does not provide cover for re-occurring or pre-existing medical
    conditions. If you have ever had a heart related problem, a stroke, cancer, any breathing problems, diabetes or had any other medical condition which has been treated in hospital or has been referred to a specialist in the last 2 years you should phone Travellers Health Check on 08456 582 999 to see if cover is available. We will confirm any special terms in writing.

  • What does "personal belongings" actually mean?
  • Personal possessions - means each of your suitcases and containers of a similar nature and their contents and articles you are wearing or carrying including your valuables (as shown below) and your passport.

    Valuables - means cameras, photographic equipment, camcorders, video, satellite navigation equipment, television and telecommunications equipment, radios, cassette players, CD players, Ipods, MP3 players, audio equipment, laptops, mac or web books, personal computers, computer games machines, binoculars, telescopes, antiques, jewellery, watches, furs, precious or semi-precious stones, articles made of or containing gold silver or other precious metals, films, tapes, cassettes, cartridges, discs or Compact Discs.

  • What is the maximum amount of time I can travel for under my annual travel policy?
  • Annual Multi-trip travel insurance policies will not cover trips of more than 31 days. Annual multi-trip policy will cover winter sports trips of 17 days in total in any one policy year if the appropriate policy or extension to cover has been purchased.

  • We offer cover within the following geographical areas:


    • Area 1 - United Kingdom

    • Area 2 - Europe, excluding Spain but including all countries west of the Ural Mountains, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, the Azores, Canary Islands, Madeira and Mediterranean islands.

    • Area 3 - Europe, including Spain and all countries west of the Ural Mountains, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, the Azores, Canary Islands, Madeira and Mediterranean islands

    • Area 4 - Australia and New Zealand

    • Area 5 - Worldwide excluding the United States of America, Canada and the Caribbean.

    • Area 6 - Worldwide including the United States of America, Canada and the Caribbean.
