When should we take out wedding insurance?
Wedding Insurance should be taken out as soon as you make any bookings or pay any deposits towards your wedding. However, we do not accept applications more than 2 years or less than 21 days before the date of your wedding.
What happens if the wedding is cancelled?
If you have to cancel your wedding, we will assess the reason for the cancellation and if your claim is valid we will pay for any expenses you are unable to recover. In order to do this we will require receipts of all non-refundable deposits paid out.
Should the reason for cancellation be the financial failure of the venue or one of your suppliers we will obtain written confirmation of the failure from Companies House or the Liquidators involved. If cancellation is due to health reasons we will require confirmation of this from a Doctor or Medical Practitioner.
Payment will be dependent on the band of cover chosen.
