Cycle Insurance

What information do you need to start cover?
As well as asking you for your full contact details we require details of the risk address where the bicycle is stored.
Do you insure professional, semi-professional and competition cyclists?
Yes.
What is the minimum/maximum age?
Cover is available for persons aged between 14 and 75 years old. Applications for under 18’s must be made by an adult.
What is the maximum value you insure?
Cover is available for Bicycles valued up to £5000.
Do you cover more than one bicycle on a policy?
No, separate policies must be taken out for each bicycle.
Is there an excess on this policy?
The excess applicable on this policy is £59 for all sections on bicycles valued up to £1000, £85 on bicycles valued £1001 - £3000 and £100 on bicycles valued £3001 and over on all sections except Public Liability claims where the excess is £250.

Do I need any other specific security for my cycle or on my vehicle or where I keep my bicycle?
Yes, full details are provided within the policy wording.
Am I covered if I lend, loan or hire my bicycle to another person?
No, the cover is only applicable for yourself.
Am I covered to take my bicycle abroad?
Yes, the cover extends to include a set number of days outside the United Kingdom.
Do you cover UK residents?
Yes, cover is only available for residents of the United Kingdom, The Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Northern Ireland.
Do you only cover UK residents?
Yes, cover is only available for residents of the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Northern Ireland.
I have previously made a claim, does this affect my cover?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer cover if a claim has been made in the previous two years at the same risk address as to that which you are proposing cover.
