Whether you are hiring a trailer for one day to attend a horse riding competition or require the use of a trailer for an extended hire period to use during the summer equestrian shows, we have the right policy for you. Insuring your hired trailer is a must if you want to protect yourself and third parties against the unexpected and do not want to lose out financially.

We provide three plans for you to choose from, Hireguard 1, 2 and 3. Hireguard 1 provides cover up to 31 days, Hireguard 2 up to 183 days and Hireguard 3 up to 365 days. All three plans offer the same level of comprehensive trailer hire insurance which includes £1.25m public liability and 100% fire, theft and accidental damage cover.

To be eligible for E&L^® Trailer Hire Insurance the following conditions must be met:

The policyholder is a UK resident aged over 18 years

You must meet our security requirements
