Excess

The excess is the amount you pay towards a claim. It is £49 for all sections except Public Liability where it is £150.

To be eligible for E&L® Camping Equipment Insurance the following conditions must be met:

The policyholder is a UK resident aged over 18 years
The equipment must not be used as permanent living accommodation is not permitted
The equipment must not be used as accommodation for periods longer than 90 consecutive days is not permitted unless we have agreed in writing
You must meet our security requirements

When is my camping equipment covered?
Your equipment is covered on tow, on holiday, stored at a recognised Cassoa site (approved by us) and at your home residential address. All security requirements as outlined in the policy wording must be met.

Will my equipment be covered whilst we are using it on holiday?
Yes, cover extends to European Use for up to 90 days per year, depending on the cover level selected. This can also be extended to Worldwide cover for an additional £1 per month or £10 per year.

There are two payment options available with our camping insurance: yearly and monthly. The monthly option is based on the lunar calendar (28 days) and offers a higher level of cover than the annual plan.
