One celebrity may be considering overseas wedding insurance after revealing plans to elope.

Jessica Simpson told Women’s Wear Daily that if things become too stressful she and fiance Eric Johnson may skip the traditional family ceremony.

Speaking about the couple’s plans for the big day, the singer said: “No date has been set yet. We’re enjoying our commitment to each other. We want to take our time.”

However, it seems Simpson has been giving some thought to her gown, as she explained that she would definitely be having a say in the design.

It will be the second time the bride-to-be walks down the aisle, as she was previously married to 98 Degrees boy band member Nick Lachey.

The former couple featured in an MTV show entitled Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica that followed their adjustment to life as husband and wife.

Johnson, who is also no stranger to marriage, divorced his first wife Keri last year.
