- Two kayakers have been rescued from Plymouth Sound

Two kayakers from Plymouth, aged 29 and 36, have had to be rescued after washing up on some rocks in Plymouth Sound. Their kayaks had capsized at Picklecombe Point on Friday night when a passer-by noticed them and called the emergency services. Brixham Coastguard launched a rescue operation involving a cliff rescue team, a police petrol craft, and two lifeboats, and the two men were pulled to safety.
