- The Sport Relief Celebrity Cycle Ride

David Williams, the Little Britain comedian has organised the non-stop charity cycle relay from John O’Groats to Land’s End. He alongside Jimmy Carr, Fearne Cotton, Davina McCall, Patrick Kielty, Russell Howard and Miranda Hart are attemping to raise Â£1 million for Sport Relief. Walliams has previously swam the English Channel for this charity, in 2006.
The trails and tribulations of their journey will be filmed for a documentary. Their challenge will last for four days and the celebrities will live on a tour bus when it’s not their turn to cycle. The team will start their journey on 4th March 2010 and it will take them approximately 80 hours of non-stop cycling, and 1,000 miles before they pass the finishing line at Land’s End.
