The former Brookside actress and now West End star, Jennifer Ellison planned to marry her fiancee Robbie Tickle in August this year. The couple then had to put their plans on hold because of work commitments for both parties. Jennifer had acting roles and Robbie had his semi-professional rugby to think about. A few weeks after postponing the wedding they found out that Jennifer was pregnant. Jennifer commented on telling their families, “They’re over the moon, they’re dead happy – it’s such a relief! Telling our families has made it all the more special because of their reaction. I’ve loved every minute.”
