A pensioner from Enfield, Essex has beaten odds of 67million to one, by scoring two hole-in-ones whilst playing a round of golf.

Peter Wafford, 75 was playing golf last Monday at Chigwell Golf Club, Chigwell, Essex.

Mr Walford has played golf for only 6 years and impressively his major golfing achievement carries the same odds as winning the lottery four times over.

Mr Wafford believes that his hole-in-ones were all down to luck, he told the Daily Mail “I didn’t realise just how rare this is.” The achievement was made during a four ball match between Chigwell and Bush Hill Park. He stated “They were both good, clean shots. Quite often the ball hits a rock or a tree and bounces back onto the green, but they both went straight in.”
