Gary Lineker aged 48 married gorgeous Danielle Bux aged 30 in a secret ceremony in Ravello, Italy on Tuesday 1st September. The ceremony was an intimate service with only two witnesses present. One of the being Danielle’s seven year old daughter who is reported to be a flower girl. The newly weds then spent their first
married night in a luxury hotel on the Amalfi coast.The couple then celebrated in style the following day with friends and family. The reception cost a whooping £250,000. The couple invited 50 close family and friends to witness a blessing where the Match of the Day host proposed to Danielle last year. The guests were then treated to a six course meal followed by plenty of fun and games whilst dancing the night away.
Danielle posed for official photographs in a £9,000 satin-corseted custom made wedding dress designed specially by Suzanne Neville. Gary Lineker wore a black suit and tie. Earlier in the day the new Mr and Mrs Lineker went on a boat trip with the rest of the guests around the Mediterranean coast line. Danielle wore a chic white and grey lace overlay dress for the extravagant trip. Danielle Bux commented before the wedding that ‘there will definitely be
no football theme – it’s not really my thing. There will be a couple of ex-footballers, but no current ones. I’m definitely not a WAG. I don’t fit into that.
