- Four Weddings, One prize: The Dream Honeymoon!
- August 17, 2009 | 0 Responses
On July 6th, a new television show was launched on Living TV. The programme is designed for four rival brides to attend each others wedding and score each wedding in a bid to win their dream, luxury honeymoon. The contestants are scrutinising every part of the bride’s dream day, from the nuptials, catering to the dress, venue and theme of the day.
All four women are completely different and therefore viewers will witness four extremely different wedding days. When each bride and groom marry, the other three will be watching in envy or outrage as they have to judge and rate every aspect of the other’s weddings. What could be one person’s dream wedding could be another person’s nightmare!
It is guaranteed to be unbelievable viewing with the weird and the wonderful and the plain wacky – as each bride submits her scores, which one will triumph and win the dream prize?
The ten part series concludes with a special celebrity episode where viewers will be treated to behind the scenes footage where they can see exactly what happens at a celebrity wedding!
The first episode features a former page 3 girl, Melanie Boorman, who chooses a lavish affair costing a whopping £77,000. Lorna Vincent’s day is on a tight budget and she chooses to be completely unique by getting hitched in a cave! Ada Ekwuozor throws a laid back African extravaganza. Last but not least, Amanda Selby has a fun filled day, starting off with a pyjama party and concluding with party games and lots of dancing.
The first episode is not one to miss but there are still many treats to come. Donna Ritchie is hoping that her pink and butterfly themed day will get her the dream honeymoon whereas Carol Ann Hewitt hopes that her alternative anti-wedding day will help her reap the awards.
Tune in to see rivalry, bitching and back-stabbing galore!
