Having conducted research Age Concern found that the vast majority of home contents policies, only cover people for their contents in the home. If the contents are taken out of the home, often an optional extra is needed on the policy. Therefore highlighting that many UK holidaymakers do not have insurance cover for their belongings and valuables.
