Adventure activity enthusiasts may want to invest in cycle insurance and head to Vietnam this summer as the destination is said to be perfect for intrepid holidaymakers. 

Travel expert at Cheapflights.co.uk Nadine Hallak explained how the country has lots to offer those looking for an action-packed break.

"With new flights with Vietnam Airways the destination is likely to become even more popular," she stated.

It was noted people can take part in cycling trips and kayaking tours in the north of the country, along with other fun pastimes.

Alternatively, Ms Hallak claimed eastern Europe is set to feature on the wish lists of adventurous travellers looking to "venture further off the beaten track".

Romania, Montenegro and Macedonia were described as up-and-coming destinations.

Ms Hallak recently recommended northern Spain as a good location for individuals who prefer to immerse themselves in a nation's culture while overseas, with the La Rioja province highlighted.
