An e-fit has been issued of a man Essex police are looking for in connection with a burglary in Grays.
Fishing equipment – including an Ambassade Morrum 770 rod and a black Kingsright Carbon Glass rod – was taken from a house on Sabina Road on April 16th.
The second item was distinctive as it had the words 'handmade by Fred King of Tunbridge Wells' written on it.
Jewellery and cash were also taken in the break-in, which it is thought happened between 14:30 and 15:10 BST.
The theft could highlight to fishing enthusiasts the importance of taking out angling insurance to protect what can be expensive pieces of equipment.
Anyone who recognises the man in the e-fit has been urged to contact the local police force or PC Joanne Borawski.
Essex police have also released CCTV footage from various robberies and crimes in the country to try and catch the perpetrators.
