Jamie Oliver may have recently invested in angling insurance as the celebrity chef decided to try his hand at fishing while at a special event in Blagdon.
The TV star took part in a catch and cook event on May 16th, which was held at Blagdon Lake by the firm Yeo Valley, the Weston, Worle and Somerset Mercury reports.
Fellow famous chef Gennaro Contaldo joined in the fun and managed to land the biggest catch of the day.
The cook reeled in a 3lb 4oz fish, as well as several other smaller trout at the fly fishing event.
Oliver and Contaldo posed with their catch by the lakeside, with the pair looking the part in their caps and wellingtons.
As well as appearing on several food documentaries and cookery competition shows, Oliver has opened a number of restaurants across the UK, including his latest venture – Jamie's Italian – in Manchester.
