- Bride battles flooding to wed fiance

The importance of investing in wedding insurance has been highlighted by flooding than almost forced one bride to cancel her big day.
In an interview with This is the West Country, Tina Rowley explained how she was trapped by rising water levels after a heavy downpour caused a road to turn into a river.
The bride was stranded until good Samaritans from the local Dairy Crest in South Chard helped carry her across the water to her venue.
"I can't thank everybody enough for what they did, especially the ones who got me across the river," Ms Rowley stated.
The 31-year-old was three hours and 15 minutes late for her ceremony, but still managed to exchange vows with her fiance Barrie Gibson.
Other brides and grooms may have been adversely affected by the weather, as there has been extensive flooding across the UK in the last week, with Hebden Bridge seeing some of the worst damage.
