- Williams’ paradise wedding a cover for mansion ceremony
- August 9, 2010 | 0 Responses
On Friday we reported that Robbie Williams was set to marry his long time love Ayda Field on the Paradise Island of Santa Catalina. The couple however fooled everyone as the ceremony took place in their back garden – but who can blame them with a back garden like theirs?
It was originally believed that the couple would marry on the island of the coast of California with guests told to ‘gather at the port’.It is not clear whether the change of location was a result of the press getting wind of the nuptials, or whether the couple planned to marry at the 12 million pound mansion all along.
Either way the intimate ceremony went ahead in 30ft marquee and was witnessed by around 40 close family and friends.
Robbie’s mum Jan is thought to have taken care of the arrangements, which included a flower arrangement spelling out the word love.
Helicopter snaps have leaked out revelling that Ayda wore a spectacular gown with gathered full shirt while Robbie wore a formal black suit with a white bow tie.
There has been speculation that the marriage will not be the only announcement that the couple will make this month, with rumours flying around that Ayda is pregnant with the couple’s first child.
