On a recent trip to the United States, Prince Harry took a fall at the Veuve Clicquot Polo match in New York yesterday.

It’s no surprise that with one of the most handsome royal’s in town, the third annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic on Governors Island yesterday was one of the hottest events in New York with tables being sold for £33,000.

Whilst on his horse, getting stuck into the spirit of the match the prince took a nasty tumble and somersaulted off his horse onto the grass. The crowd looked in horror amusement and then when they realised prince was Ok.

Despite the fall, Harry was able to lead his players in a tough match that ended 5-5.

The event has been billed as one of the summer’s most fashionable summer events. The polo match capped Harry’s three day visit to New York.

On Friday he visited the West Point Military Academy where he said that Britain could learn a lot from how the Americans treat their veterans.

On Saturday he went to the famous New York Mets baseball game and threw his first pitch.
