A new app may prove useful for caravan insurance customers who are keen to explore Britain.

Yolanda Copes-Stepney, destination PR officer for VisitEngland, described how the Enjoy England App provides a wealth of information on what to see and do in the country.

She suggested that the technology can help people to save money on day trips and plan an itinerary.

"Apart from being brilliant at giving you access to thousands of great ideas, you also get attraction information which is quite vital for planning your days out," Ms Copes-Stepney stated.

Those who use the app will find it provides details of telephone numbers, email addresses and opening times of various visitor centres and places of interest.

It was also noted that people can personalise their settings so they only receive information about activities in their local area.

The app contains a number of aspects that work offline and features a list of the top 500 must-visit attractions in the UK.
