Caravan insurance may be needed by the owners of a site that is set to undergo a £500,000 renovation.
According to the Berwick Advertiser, Northumbrian Leisure is set to transform former temporary pitches at Glororum Holiday Park into 42 touring pitches.
Owner of the company Nigel Thompson said: "The improvements mean we will have one of the best sites for touring caravans, which play an important part in north Northumberland's tourist trade."
He added the renovations will help to boost visitors to the area, as the park will have state-of-the-art facilities in "unbeatable surroundings".
Caravanners may be drawn to the site in the new year, as it was noted by the news source that staycationing remains popular and appears set to continue to do so.
Glororum is a short walk from the village of Bamburgh and the World Heritage attractions, which include the island of Lindisfarne, wildlife reserves and beaches.
