- Appeal launched to find stolen caravan
- March 29, 2012 | 0 Responses
A police appeal could help prevent the owner of a stolen mobile home from having to make a claim on their caravan insurance.
The vehicle was removed from a driveway in Stewton Lane in Louth, the local Leader newspaper reports.
Anyone with information about the missing unit is asked to call police on 101 and it is hoped the distinctive caravan can be traced.
The Abbey Spectrum 520 twin axle mobile home was taken sometime between last night (March 28th) and the early hours of this morning.
A black and red sticker of the number 64 features in the top centre of the rear window of the caravan and has been described as a unique characteristic that could help people to identify it.
The Perthshire Advertiser recently reported how local police are hoping to track down the thieves behind a sting of caravan thefts worth £18,000 in Bankfoot and Blairgowrie.
