The only ticks I have seen (in Devon) were black in colour and much smaller than 5mm before feeding. They appear where the sheep graze and deer wander.
What are these white/grey ones & where are they found?

Well, i’m not really a fan of Katie Price… Both my parents went to school with her and aren’t keen on her either… but even i have got to admit she has goood taste in horse trailers think she’ll buy me one?!! lol!

As this ban is not written into local bye-laws, it is unenforcable, as no law is being broken and no criminal offence is being committed. This ‘ban’ was introduced on the ill informed advice of the local model boat club, who asked the council to put signs up. please remember folks, New Brighton boating lake is a PUBLIC lake, and not the private property of the model boat club.

I think it’s a great idea. Smithy only tweets when off duty and Twitter costs nothing. His amusing tweets encourage more public interest in this important aspect of police work, which can only be a good thing. So where’s the harm?
