Holiday home enthusiasts may want to invest in touring caravan insurance and head away on a short break in Europe.
Heather Carswell, spokeswoman for Lonely Planet, described how taking a mini-vacation can be a great way to get a feel for an area.
“Taking a short trip can be a fantastic way of getting a taste of the country,” she stated.
In addition, it was suggested they are also “great value” and can “easily fit around work”.
Ms Carswell claimed that spending a few days somewhere can “entice” holidaymakers to return to explore what more a country has to offer in the future.
This type of travel allows people to discover a region without a large cost and with very little disruption to their routines.
It seems short holidays abroad are popular with younger Brits, after a recent study by Continental Tyres revealed the average individual takes six mini-breaks per year.
