- Indoor caravan hotel launched in Berlin

Caravan insurance customers may be interested to hear about a new hotel that brings the outdoors, indoors.
The Hutten Palast in Berlin has designed a range of rooms that allow visitors to experience sleeping in a mobile home but in the comfort of a building, the Metro reports.
Guests can spend the night in their own converted caravan before mingling with other residents in the communal areas, as they would at a real campsite.
Silke Lorenzen and Sarah Volmer came up with the concept when considering how to create a sociable feel within the hotel.
Ms Lorenzen explained how they wanted to design sleeping quarters “where people actually meet each other and not only get a key at reception and disappear in their rooms forever”.
Sitting alongside the three caravans are a number of wooden cabins that each have individual themes and double beds.
There is also a more traditional section of the hotel that offers guests more privacy through individual rooms.
