Taking out camping insurance and getting back to nature may be a good way to help people boost their health.
Walking charity the Ramblers has urged Brits to celebrate Get Walking Day on May 14th by taking part in one of hundreds of free strolls taking place across the country.
There are a range of routes suitable for people of all abilities and ages, with some paths taking in rivers or coastal views.
Julia Bradbury, TV presenter and Ramblers president, said: “Walking is a perfect way to exercise, relax the mind and replenish the soul.”
She added that it can also be a great way to “make new friends and take those first steps to a new you”.
Walking for half an hour five times a week is said to elevate a person’s mood, while helping to control weight.
Individuals living in Sheffield, south London, east London and Birmingham can apply for Get Walking Packs from the Ramblers’ online site that provide tips and advice on starting out.
